Economic Civic Education Training – Colombo

To provide clarity on Sri Lanka’s economic trajectory in an accessible manner, Arutha conducted its first civic education program open to members of the general public on 29 August 2024. The event was held at the Lakmahal community library, and was an interactive session centred on the recent economic crisis, exploring its causes and implications for the future. Participants also engaged in activities designed to delve into the economics of everyday life which was followed by an engaging Q and A session.
