Challenges in tax policy and administration have long burdened the Sri Lankan economy. Taxation is central to the country’s economic recovery and fiscal reform. Therefore, our work involves investigating Sri Lanka’s tax system in depth. 

We evaluate the tax system through a political economic lens, examining how both government and non-state actors influence reform, and how internal bureaucratic dynamics shape outcomes.

Our goal is to make tax systems clearer and more transparent. Through research and accessible content, we work towards making tax understandable and relevant to all.
