Solution Brief: The hidden costs of IRD's poorly designed website

Despite many challenges, the Inland Revenue Department (IRD) has made significant strides in digitalisation. While there are strategic plans to further digitalise and streamline the revenue collection process, re-hauling the IRD’s website does not appear to be on the agenda. The IRD website is poorly designed, is visually unappealing and is outdated. It has several usability flaws and accessibility issues.


This Solution brief argues that revamping IRD's website is an efficient and low-cost solution to boosting the IRD’s reputation as an efficient and modern tax administrator.
